What do you think of managing a guitar shop business at the age of 50? My uncle owns a guitar shop and he's been running the business for 8 years now. He said that in case I plan to retire early, he will turn over to me his shop and manage it. To be honest, I'm not 100% interested but I know that it's a good opportunity. Perhaps, it would be my 2nd choice. But for now, I want to focus first on creating a plan and some goals for my retirement. We're still paying house and I want to finish our dues before I finally settle. Anyway, feel free to drop a line if you want to share your thoughts about the business.

Well .... In my opinion you would have to be a " people person " dealing with the general public and employees Operating a business to me seems like having a child than never grows up to leave home. It is a constant concern and always needs "something". Operating any enterprise isn't retirement it's work. If you are not already "jazzed" at this opportunity take a closer look. R/
