I bought this guitar new in 84. It's in excellent condition has never been played a whole lot. The wood has aged, the top has yellowed or darkened. It sounds ok but never was a show stopper. My question is would it be worth the time and cost to have it revoiced, or would I be better off to let it live as is?

I have a Martin/GOYA S- 335[ yes just like the gibson elec. #] It was made in Korea about the same time and is the same guitar as yours [ it has a bit more neck inlay but other than that is a Sigma- ] It also has the aged wood- looks ok- BUT IS NO SHOW STOPPER- My daughter bought it in a flea market for $150,. I got a new HS case for it. Revoicing - neck reset- refretting... a waste of time and money. These things only sound so good. Enjoy what you have- If you want a show stopper you just have to bite the bullet and buy a good guitar.
