Hi Everyone,Last summer i had this problem, a crack on my acoustic guitar. Do you think it is due to the dry temperature or something else when looking at the photograph? Thanks for the advices.

It probably is from getting too dry. I always put a humidifier of some sort on my guitars when I'm not playing them. There are different kinds to purchase and none are very expensive. I have one that fits inside the sound hold and is held by the string and edge of the guitar. I have to put water in it about every week to keep it where it will work. Well worth the little money it cost and the constant refilling with water.

Thank you Texasbanjo for the advice. It had never happened to me and last summer I went to play the guitar open air but in all these months it hasn't changed the sound and it keeps the tuning perfectly, I don't know whether to keep it like this or repair it with a Titebond wood glue. Have a nice day.

I'd probably take it to a qualified luthier to fix rather than try fixing it myself, but I'm not the type that tinkers with instruments.

Texasbanjo, but if I leave the guitar as it is, considering that it's already eight months could it get worse? Now excellent sound and tuning
