When I need to focus on a specific bar/bars of a TAB it out in guitar pro 7. However, the beaming on 1/8th notes never comes out the same as what is written in my source material. Either my source material is wrong or Guitar Pro 7 is wrong.
1/8th notes my source has four notes per beam, with two beams in the bar = 8 notes
1/8th notes in Guitar Pro has two notes per beam, with four beams per bar = 8 notes
Research tells me four 1/8 per one beam is correct, which makes Guitar Pro 7 incorrect.
There does not appear to be a guitar TAB pro forum which surprises me.
Anyone using Guitar Pro 7 or earlier and find the same ?

All sorted, there is an option to convert 2 x 2 Beams to 1 x 4 Beams
