I uploaded an electric (sorry - but I was using a flat pick!) guitar piece onto YouTube last week that used a whole slew of Charlie Christian swing licks over a standard 12 bar sequence. I've promised to upload an explanation video, too, although I've yet to record it. Anyway, I won't put the video in the archive here for obvious reasons, but for you swing fans there might be something here (or in the soon to follow explanation video) that you like enough to use;
