I'm happy to announce that we've officially launched the Flatpicker Hangout Players Union. The Players Union is a simple way for members to help support the site, while getting some very nice benefits in return.
Members get exclusive discounts (like $5 off your annual subscription to the Fretboard Journal and The Old-Time Herald), members-only shirts, automatic daily entry into the drawings, and more. (See the full list of member benefits here.)

New Site Feature: Groups
Have you seen the new Groups feature? We just launched it a few weeks ago!
Any members can create and join a group. Each group has a blog where members can interact, and once you're a member of a group you can 'tag' site content like forum topics or MP3s in order to associate them with your group.
Our goal here is to provide a way for members to build smaller, more focused communities within the larger Fiddle Hangout community. Enjoy!
