Deering's Banjo Championship

DelFest Academy
Cumberland, MD - May 24-26: Held just prior to DelFest, the academy is a friendly, encouraging, and intensive three-day learning experience with some of the finest musicians in bluegrass. Instructors include Rob McCoury on banjo.

Enjoy Pickin' in the Panhandle this September
On September 9, 10 and 11, the hills of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle will be filled with the sound of bluegrass and the smell of BBQ at the WV State BBQ & Bluegrass Festival. Camp Bluegrass - 25 Years of Making Music
Camp Bluegrass is a one-week residential picking camp for bluegrass musicians held each July at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas. On-campus dorms, RV sites, and motels available. Food service is provided in the SPC cafeteria.
Our speciality is quality teaching and small classes in state of the art facilities. The faculty includes some of the best instructors anywhere. Several SPC teachers are on the staff. Classes are held in the Commercial Music building with nightly faculty concerts in the Tom T. Hall Production Studio.
