To all my guitar picking friends out there- I just got a new Woodsong jumbo; they are new to the USA. I gotta tell you- this thing plays and sounds like a dream. Its maiden voyage was in the coffee shop friday night. Three of the players I respect the most told me that the Woodsong was the best sounding guitar I have. I am not making this up. This is an extremely well-thought out guitar designed by a guy who knows what is important. It has a chamfered top of the lower bout (similar the the new Taylors) for player comfort. It also has a zero-glide nut which really helps keep it in tune as well as making those open chords really ring. Honestly, this is the one I pick up most often now. It has other features that most other luthiers haven't incorporated. Also, mine has the Dean Markly Trilogy pickup which lets you blend the mic, the peizo and the magnetic pickups. Google Woodsongguitars and play the video. I think you will agree. This guitar just took the place of my Gibson Songwriter.
