I've been play the guitar since the late 70s, but started back into it three years ago, and have developed the same level of addiction I have for the banjo. Since the late 70s, I've had the honor of playing with great musicians, and in bands like John Hunley and the Kentuckians, Blue Velvet, Frank Wakefield, The Mike Adams Band, Timberline, Lare Williams and New direction, and Hardline Drive. My playing style is based in Scruggs, but influenced by J. D. Crowe, Sammy Shelor, Ron Block, Ron Stewart, and Mills. Heck, I like all the banjo greats.
