Been involved in music in some form since jr high. That was like, 53 year ago. In between I played trumpet, baritone, trombone, tenor sax, harmonica, and piano. Finally ran out of hot air, so gave up the wind instruments and in July '11 picked up the guitar. Am totally obessed with it. Did a 20 lesson self teaching course with Gibson's Learn & Master. Have moved into fingerstyle and now into fingerpickin'. Not great at either, yet, but it'll come in time. Being retired I practice several hours a day. My entry level guitar is a Simon & Patrick. Recently bought a 25 yr old Fender in mint condition. My dream guitar is a Martin. Wifey says its just "California Dreamin'". We'll see. Other interests are fly fishing, kayaking and RVing. I have developed a good singing voice, so the guitar is a real blessing for accompanying myself.
