Martin DR guitar w/ OHSC

I have a chance to buy a Martin DR with original case for $400. It is 10YO or so and in very good shape. The first owner added a pickup system and was a performer. Its an hour away, but I am going to look at it tomorrow (Thurs). Any ideas if this is a deal and what to look for before buying? Thanks!
