an old catalogue no name five, an S.S.Stewart tango banjo, tuned GCEA and a home made banjo that I put together about 1973 from a bunch of parts for the pot and a home made, hand carved neck. All of the inlay was bought from Stew-Mac pre-cut except for the symetrical pieces around the nut which I cut myself. All of my banjos have fiber-skin heads. I play mostly clawhammer and jug band stuff and the firber-skin seems to work for me.
