I am playing the 5-string banjo here. Most of the time in my life I have been the banjo player in the band, because there aren't a lot of banjoist in the Minnesota/North Dakota area. I am starting to get more into the guitar now. I used to try to imitate players like Tony Rice, Doc Watson etc. But nowadays I have just decided its much better to be me, and play my own kind of music, and I think we should all try to be THAT kind of a player- our own kind of a player (just my personal opinion here...not meant to offend anybody)
