Another nice old Gibson that I had the chance to play one evening in Cobourg. This belonged to Catherine's dad Gene, who wrote Snowbird, Put Your Hand In The Hand, Face In The Mirror and many other great songs. Although there are several old photos showing Gene playing this guitar with the blonde front and tortoise pick guard, somewhere along the line someone has refinished it to look like a J-45.
