Hey Steve,
nice collection of guitars. I particularly admire the arch-top, I guess because my very first box was a Harmony Monterey arch-top acoustic that I bought at a hock shop for $15.00. Man, the neck was thick and the action way too high, but I loved it! :)

thanks LB.....yea, I like the arch-top too. It belonged to my Uncle Clement. It is a 1948 Gretsch Electromatic. I bet I got my hine-end whooped a time or two for sneaking into his room and trying to play that big rascal when I was a little feller. He was a long distance truck driver and stayed gone for weeks at a time. So, naturally I wanted to make sure his guitar was OK (even though I was forbidden to touch it). That guitar sure could tell some stories. It has probably heard and seen things that me and you can't imagine....hehe
The old guitar really needs a lot of work done to it. But, I don't think there is enough money in the state of NC to get me to part with it. He gave it to me a couple of years before he passed away. A lot of sentimental value....
