Data showing price versus quality. Note that you need to spend at least $200 or so to get a serviceable instrument. You get a really good playing instrument around $500. You can get a near professional playability with good tone around $1000, but you need to spend near $2500 to get the best playability and tone/volume. There are exceptions of course.
