I made this while I was fooling around trying to learn Audacity, the free, open source sound recording and editing program. It's kind of rough, but I thought it was worth keeping. It was done on a 1999 Martin D-28 played into a Sennheiser e865 mic, hooked into my laptop via a Presonus Inspire 1394 Firewire audio interface. I have to say, I like Audacity much more than Cubase LE, which came bundled with the Presonus Inspire.

Nice playing and nice sounding guitar. I also play a Martin and love them. There is nothing better!

Nice picking. I do this myself, both on guitar, mandolin and a 6-string mandolin. The versions I know on the two kinds of instruments are pretty different from each other. And so are the different versions I have heard through the years. From guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, dulcimer whatever. But it is always a lovely tune to listen to. You do it very nicely.
