For demonstration: This is a *very* rough, unaccompanied recording of the intro, first part ONLY, & ending. It has a metronome running at 184 bpm. I can play it slightly faster in A (that skid-greasing capotato!), but here it is in G (I couldn't find my capo!). I won't skate over the fact that this is not very pleasant to listen to, but merely a learning tool in my quest for ever greater speed. I believe I actually get slightly ahead of the metronome about halfway through... Anyway, I wouldn't dream of playing it this fast on stage or at a jam, don't worry ;)

Yep, that's fast. And it's rough, but not all that rough. If you keep working at it you'll probably be able to play it acceptably smooth at that speed.
