This was recorded in the mid-70s on an old Sony reel to reel. I was just fooling around trying to play along with an old Scott Joplin record.

HA! Pretty fun. I've noticed lately, after also listening to old reel tapes, guitars all sounded different but similar. Sounds like everybody had old strings on or something, which I find really flattering. Thanks for posting.

As I recall I just set up 2 mics in the room and recorded to my reel to reel from the stereo speakers as I played along with the record player. I can't remember which guitar I used, but I think that was about the time I owned a maple Sturgill guitar. I just wanted to see what it sounded like and if I could record that way. For some reason kept the recording all these years and posted it on here as a whim. Thought it might be something a little different.
