Me and my friend, Brian Stephens, having fun with an old Flatt & Scruggs bluegrass number as a guitar duet. Brian is primarily in the right speaker and I am in the left. Brian is playing out of C position capoed up the neck while I am playing out of D position capoed two frets down so we don't step on each other's toes sonically speaking. Neither of us had ever played this song together before and we didn't rehearse one bit -- we just hit record and let the chips fall where they may. It turns out that Brian was used to playing it in D shape and I was used to playing it in C shape so we thought it would be fun to both be out of our "comfort zones" by swapping who played in C and who played in D to keep us on our toes. I think sometimes that's the best music -- unrehearsed and spontaneous. Enjoy! --Jamey
