Hey Tom, good to see you back. I like your break much better than mine, so I'll leave it at that!
Nice pickin' by you, Ray & Gary.

Good to be back!
Thanks. The real creativity comes from Ray & Gary. The kick off I stole (as closely as I could) from Tim Mays version on the Tim May, Cody Kilby, Brad Davis DVD.

Nice singin', Tom. Have you sung in front of an audience yet?
BTW, why did you take down all your other song postings?

"Nice singin', Tom. Have you sung in front of an audience yet?"
Thanks Dave, and not really.
I'm still pretty self conscious about it, but have you noticed how old people will sometimes say anything and not be embarrassed? I think I'm getting there. Maybe that'll help...
"BTW, why did you take down all your other song postings?"
Things have been a little crazy here in the last year. I got laid off due to downsizing and changed jobs twice, and my home computer died. Things are just now settling down enough for me to start participating here again. Anyway, I got an email from the site saying I needed to credit the song writers on my postings. Unfortunately, about half the time I'm not sure of the name of the tune I'm playing, much less who wrote it, so I figured I'd just start over (except for Unclouded Day, which I can't just redo).
I'll be posting more soon as I get a decent mic. I'm anxious to record my new guitar. It's my favorite guitar ever, and probably the least money I've ever spent on one. I got one of those Recording King ROS-16's from Elderly. I can't put the darn thing down or say enough about it. More later about that...

Thanks, Don. (but the really good pickin is Gary and Ray).
Steve, Glad to be back. I hope to get a new mic this Christmas, so I'll be posting more soon. When my last computer crashed, I lost my copy of our collaboration. I'm glad to see you still have a copy. If you don't mind, I'll download a copy and repost with my stuff. Thanks again, Tom
