Very Nice. I especially think the vocals are a perfect fit for this song.

Tom - I will tell Bobby about your comment - he is an excellent (outstanding) guitar picker and an excellent singer. He is actually singing this song quite a ways out of his normal range - he usually sings this one in the key of D but the goofy banjo player (me) has not learned the picking for this song in C position or D position so we switched to G solely for the convenience of the the rookie banjo player (me). i agree with you - he did a very nice job on the vocals - thank you for your comment and I will pass it along to Bobby. Phil

I would love to pick with you guys, Kemo! That is the kind of music I love the most, and the speed is just right. Great guitar leadwork! Y'all sound great!

My Grandma's favourite hymn. She asked me to learn it when I was learning to fingerpick. I now live in Port Hope, Ontario, the town where Joseph Scriven lived when he wrote the words to What a Friend...

Nice job Kemo Sabe, one of my favorite hymns too. I had to get my guitar out and pick along!
