Lady Gethin is an obscure melody by the harper Turlough Carolan. I recorded it for the CD that accompanies my book Fair Melodies: Turlough Carolan and Irish Harper available at www.noblestonepress.com. On this recording I play all parts on: a Craig Anderson guitar capo 5 in Dadgad, a Joe Foley bouzouki, and a Gibson A mandolin, none of which I currently own.

I am not famillar with this tune (Lady Gethin). Is it listed under another title? What is the source?

It is by Carolan the Irish composer/ harper 1670-1738. Its #51 in the commonly used Carolan numbering system. It is infrequently recorded.
