Thanks. This was my first attempt at doing this kind of comparison and I was surprised on a couple of levels. First, the difference between the guitars I hear live did not carry through via a mic, even of the quality of the Zoom H4 I used. Also, these guitars (by these I mean all original dreadnought 12 fret slope shoulder slothead design) have incredible projection, even the lesser expensive ones say like a D-15S, than most 14 fret's I've played yet this couldn't be heard through the mic. This reinforced to me the difference between live unplugged acoustic sound and electronic representation. Thanks for the comment.
