Curious what other flatpickers do to warm up. I've been doing slow scale runs and a few minutes of crosspicking before diving into tunes. Anyone have a routine they swear by?
Unfortunately, I now have to warm up before I can pick like I want to. Used to, I could grab the banjo and play anything from a breakdown to a vocal number. Time and age have taken their toll and I've had to slow down and warm up.
