I’ve really been enjoying Tony Rice’s Church Street Blues album again lately. I heard Trey Hensley say it’s a great study in self accompaniment (even though his bro plays with him).
Do y'all know of any similar albums?- like solo performances or duets. I play solo a lot and love the challenge of incorporating improv into songs I’m singing. Bluegrass is such a cool genre for that. It’d be fun to hear how different musicians go about it.
Thanks!
