Year Purchased: 2004
Price Paid: 425 ($US) (bought USED)
When I first heard the sound I knew I had to buy it. I would compare it to most Gibsons and Martins I've played
Sound Rating: 10
It sounded good and played well right out of the case. I later changed the plastic bridge pinsfor ebony.
Setup Rating: 10
Beautiful finish with inlayed mother of pearl around the sound hole and around the body. Gold tuners with inlays in the head.
Appearance Rating: 10
I would compare the finish to any high priced guitar on the market. The finish and hardware has stood up to over nine years of picking and jamming and still looks great.
Reliability Rating: 10
I havn't had to deal with the companyfor any warrenty work so far.
Customer Service: 10
The pick guard could be of a better quality, but overall, it's a great sounding, great playing and great looking guitar. Especially for the price.
Components Rating: 9
I saw the ad in Bluegrass Magazine that said it "played like a Gibson and sounded like a Martin". I had to try one, and once I did, I had to agree. I get a lot of compliments at bluegrass jams and country music get togethers.
Overall Rating: 10
