I was born in the heartland of Northern Indiana. I came to playing guitar when I discovered my sister's acoustic guitar left at home during college. I started playing blues, rock, and whatever suited my soul. I decided to start picking bluegrass and folk tunes about 3 years ago after I was introduced to flatpicking. I aspire to pick like Tony Rice, David Grisman, Bryan Sutton, and those who are able to combine traditional bluegrass style infused with different genres like jazz and blues.
