What are the most important fundamentals of playing that I should work on? Scales, cords or songs? I like to learn songs, but what will help me develop into a great picker, to eventually help me understand cords and notes to someday become a professional player?
Please help, I want to learn right, any advice will help.
Thank you,
Timothy

I'm 12 years old and I've been raised around Bluegrass and Acoustic Music. My family "The Saunders Family" travels and sings through out the year and I play guitar on some songs. You can find more info about us on Facebook under "Terry Saunders"
