I have played 6 & 12 string acoustic and electric guitar since 1969, mandolin since 1977 and tenor banjo since 1983. I have performed on stage since 1972 and have recorded two CD's of original music. LAWN JOCKEY was an American duo comprised of Tom Henry and Scott Stokes specializing in acoustic music in a variety of styles, including Folk, Celtic, Psycho-Bluegrass and New Age. The duo consists of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Tom Henry from Elmwood Park, IL and songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Scott Stokes from Henryetta, OK. Their debut CD “Jethro’s Revenge” (1999) was released to widespread critical acclaim and continues to receive radio airplay on independent stations across the U.S. and Europe as well as several internationally based podcasts. Their subsequent tour, likewise, received outstanding reviews. The duo has split and Tom continues to perform as a solo acoustic artist and with his band The Truth.
