Imported, like cheese, from Holland (1951); raised in Chatham, Ontario, Canada; schools: Chatham (ON), Guelph (ON), Spokane (WA.USA, Seattle (WA, USA), Winnipeg (Manitoba), Regina (Saskatchewan), London (ON); taught in Regina; auto parts dept.,stair assembly, warehousing, janitor (ON); retired. A "folkie" during the 60s; Erik Darling big "turn on" .. Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, others; jammed with various folk groups. Met veteran Dobro player (Roger) and banjo/fiddle player (Keith) about six years ago. Discovered Smokey Mountain Hymns vol.2, and Bluegrass about the same time; 'Ol Time banjo/fiddle/guitar & more recently. Have been collecting (iTunes) from these repertoires ever since. My decision was to get good at rhythm guitar. Fast bluegrass pickers, like Brian Sutton, the Bluegrass Martins family, the Tuttle family .. all the new generation "Young 'Uns" .. blow me away! Look at watcha ya begun, Mr. Flatt and Mr. Stanley! .. Wunnerfull !!
