Standard issue boomer, grew up in rural South Caroline, played in many bands and almost made a living at it, did some sound work for Doc and Merle Watson. These days, I live in the northland, a semi-rural region of Kansas. I.m still an active player. I don't do nearly as much flat picking as I once did (not many flatpickers in KC) but I enjoy it when I do.
