My name is Marshall Avery Ewing most people around here call me Avery. I been play music sinces I was a kid. I started with my dad but, he got sick and passed away. After that I didn't play for a while because there was no one around here to play with. In 2001 a guy at told me about homespuns tapes and DVD's, thats where I saw my first Steve Kaufman DVD and never looked back. I really have enjoyed playing the guitar. I first saw Tony rice at Merlefest in 2002 and been a believer every sences. These days I spend most of my time going to flatpicking shows and taking picture of all the flatpicking stars. I have meet alot of the greats out there but would like to meet all of my bluegrass favorites. I love to jam or pick as we call it here in Kentucky. I do live in Kentucky but we are about a 100 miles north of Knoxville Tn. so I go there alot and jam. So I hope to see you around the big town of Knoxville Tn soon.
