This is a song I wrote after my mother died in 2004. My mother was a Christian lady who raised 11 children and loved us all the same. Later years, when we would want to do something for her, she would always say, "Don't worry about me, I'll be ok." A few days before she died, we were trying to get her to eat and she said what she always said, "Don't worry about me" Rest in heaven, dear Mother!

I entered a country song writing contest on a music site back in 2006. I made it into the top 50 with this song. I got the idea of an ol' country boy falling in love with a rich city girl and this is how it came out. Hope ya' like it! Bobcom
