I've taken this sweet and mellow banjo version from Podcast/ BanjoHangout, recorded it with an H2n ZOOM recorder. combining the iTunes podcast with my HD-35 Martin. No pick used. Very mellow.

Doc Watson and Frank "Hi-Lo" Brown are two of many who do a good job on singing this "classic" hymn. Tony and Wyatt Rice are even better in doing their instrumental version, at least to my "ears". Banjo vet, Raymond Fairchild, does a fast, "red-neck" version on his banjo. Using an H2n ZOOM recorder, I accompany Raymond (.. from my iTunes collection) on my HD-35 Martin. Have a listen.
